How teachers organize your classroom supplies using classroom storage units will have an effect on the efficiency of the system you develop. So if you are in charge of inventory for your school, you will probably want to talk to your teachers in advance about what types of containers they would find most useful. Along with plastic bins, you may need to invest in additional classroom furniture. They may also be useful to serve as student mailboxes or cubbies. Many bins stack one on top of another directly however, which can reduce the need for new classroom furniture.
