• Despite their sturdy design, wire shelves are lightweight and easy to assemble. When you purchase a black wire shelving starter kit, you will receive four posts and four or five shelves depending on which item you select. We offer four different shelf widths, starting at 12” and running up to 36”. You will find assembly fast and intuitive, and even after the unit is pieced together, you will find it light enough to maneuver easily if you wish to relocate it. You can complete the entire assembly process without the aid of any tools.
• Wire shelving stays clean. With solid shelves, you have a problem with dust accumulating. With wire, dust does not build up, and you will have to clean your shelves less often. When you do, you will find it quick and easy.
• Wire is not a fire hazard. Wood shelving units can burn, but wire shelves will not. Additionally, the gaps in the wire allow water from overhead sprinklers to penetrate the shelves, which makes your entire store setup safer.
