If you can, choose bathroom plastic bins. Plastic is easy to wipe dry, which you should do routinely in order to keep mold from growing inside your containers. You either want to invest in containers that seal tight, or top-open containers. Sealed containers can keep moisture from penetrating the interior, and are good for storing things you may not need to use every day like first aid supplies. That way things like bandages stay clean and dry and don’t lose their adhesion and are ready to use when you need them. If your containers don’t seal, then it is best to use open-faced containers since these will not trap moisture like closing (but not sealing) containers. These can dry more completely between shower uses.

Keep your bathroom supplies organized according to their use. For example, put all your first-aid supplies in one sealing container and then place that container somewhere that is within easy reach yet out of your way as you go about your day-to-day activities. Place hygienic supplies in another container that is easy to reach, and beauty supplies in another. You may also want to keep separate containers for often-used supplies and seldom-used supplies.
