If you are tripping over soap bottles in the shower and can’t remember which makeup you put in which drawer, it is time for a clear-out and a top-to-bottom bathroom makeover! If you are looking for easy ways to organize your bathroom, we have some great ones for you!
• Use small plastic boxes in your bathroom drawers. You can use the same ones you do in the kitchen for your utensils. These drawers are also the ideal shape and size for items like toothbrushes and makeup brushes. Using plastic containers for drawers not only keeps your stuff organized, but also keeps moisture out of your drawers, protecting the wood.
• Shop for hanging overhead storage for your shower so you can get your caddy or soap and shampoo bottles out of the way. If you need to, you can mount hooks on the walls and hang caddies, or install an extra shower bar and hang them from there. If lots of people in your household use the same shower, everyone will really appreciate this.
• If you have bottles of lotion, baby oil, hair spray, and so on that you store under your sink and pull out and put back every day as you are getting ready, consider putting all of those items inside a single bathroom storage bin. If you do this, you will be able to pull out all the items at once and put them back simultaneously! Seriously, how much easier is that? Think of the time you’ll save and the messes you’ll avoid. Reaching everything will be so easy.
• Looking for a great way to store tweezers, bobby pins, and other small bathroom supplies that happen to be made of metal? If you place a magnetic strip inside a cabinet drawer, you’ll always be able to quickly grab a bobby pin right when you need it.
• Add a shelf over your bathroom door if you have some extra space up there. You can store toilet paper, extra towels, or other stuff you don’t need to reach every day.
• Add hooks for your towels. Want to free up some cabinet space? This is one of the easiest ways to do it. Just hang your towels from the hooks on your wall or on the inside of your bathroom door instead, and you will have much more room on your shelves.
Now you have some great ideas for organizing your bathroom. As you can see, these are all quite simple, and most of them are quick and easy to implement. Once you do, you will have more room on your countertop, inside your drawers, under your sink, on your shelves, and inside your shower. You won’t be stumbling over soap bottles anymore, and you will be able to find what you’re looking for on the first try every time. Even if your bathroom is small and cramped, with these elegant storage solutions, you can make it a comfortable, clutter-free place to be!
