How often do you find yourself rifling through a drawer for ten minutes just to try and find something you need? Sometimes you discover that the item you were looking for was sitting there right in front of you the whole time, and you didn’t see it because of all the clutter. Other times it might be buried in the back of the drawer, or it might even have fallen between the drawer and the body of the dresser. Or you might realize that it’s in another drawer altogether.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could find what you were looking for in your drawers instantly at a glance? You wouldn’t lose things as often, and not only would you save time, but you also might save money since you wouldn’t need to go and replace lost items all the time.

It isn’t hard to organize your drawers, but very few people ever take the time to actually do it. It isn’t enough to put certain items in certain drawers and not in others: you need to learn how to organize your drawers with a drawer organization system. The easiest way to do this is by using a set of plastic bins. The deeper your drawers, the more bins you can fit inside. Small bins are available even for relatively cramped drawers, however, and there is a solution for any situation.

Small plastic containers, with or without lids, are perfect for organizing hygiene supplies, makeup, jewelry, electronics, and other odds and ends that you may have stashed away in your drawers. Plastic bins with lids are excellent for supplies that might get wet, or for very tiny items that are likely to go astray if bins are left open. For items you need to use frequently, it’s usually best to use open plastic bins.
