Organize your kitchen so that other people will be able to understand it. A well-organized kitchen will be immediately intuitive not only to you but to others who visit your household. This is because if you organize your kitchen according to how often you use each item in it, your items will all end up in the same places as everyone else’s with relatively minor variations.

You can also organize your kitchen pantry with kitchen pantry organizers (small wireframe holders for cans and boxes) and by putting loose items like flour or salt into plastic kitchen bins. This not only keeps your loose items organized, but also consolidates them, saving you space, and has the further benefit of keeping your supplies fresh. Ingredients like salt and flour can last for years if you take care of them.
